Saints Netball
Training twice a week as part of the university netball team taught me valuable lessons in discipline, time management, and teamwork. Regular practices and matches strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with teammates, and stay focused under pressure. These experiences not only improved my athletic skills but also enhanced my leadership and strategic thinking, qualities that extend into all areas of my life.

Saints Snowsports
Joining the university’s snowsports club gave me the opportunity to learn how to ski and snowboard for the first time. Over the past three years, I’ve participated in three ski trips, where I challenged myself to push boundaries and embrace failure as part of growth. Falling and trying again taught me resilience, determination, and the value ofpersistence. These experiences helped me connect with others and develop a positive mindset when faced with challenges.

FOBISIA Competitions
From the age of 13 to 17, I represented my school five times at FOBISIA Games (Federation of British International Schools in Asia), competing in football, basketball, swimming, and athletics. These events took me to cities like Bangkok, Beijing, Jakarta, Singapore, and Phuket, where I competed against international schools across Asia. My commitment and performance were recognized with the Sportswoman of the Year award twice during this time. Participating in these games helped me develop resilience, teamwork, and adaptability, as I learned to perform under pressure while fostering camaraderie with teammates and competitors from diverse backgrounds.

24 Hour Race
I participated twice in the 24 Hour Race, an endurance event to combat modern slavery, raising over 5,000 MYR with my team of eight. The race required us to run continuously for 24 hours, demonstrating not only physical stamina but also mental resilience and determination. Beyond the physical challenge, this event reinforced the importance of working towards a meaningful cause and showed me the power of teamwork and perseverance in making a tangible impact.
